Frequently asked questions
We make sure ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Mode understand your restaurant: what you cook, at what price, when you open, where you are and what your customers say. We publish your menu and your daily set menu (menú del día) as text with structured data, keep the same details on your website, your Google listing and the menuveo.es directory, and check what AI answers when someone asks where to eat in your area. If it gives a wrong detail, we find where it comes from and fix it.
It has no list of its own: it searches the web and cross-checks your Google listing, your website, directories, reviews and mentions. It recommends what it understands and trusts. A restaurant with its menu in a PDF and different hours on every site is hard to recommend; one with everything in text, up to date and consistent is easy.
Because AI doesn't read a photo or a scanned PDF well: as far as it is concerned, those dishes don't exist. With the menu in text, it can answer "where to eat black rice near me" or "daily menu today in Figueres" with your restaurant.
No, and nobody can: each platform decides its own answers. What we do is make sure you aren't left out for lack of information. AI has your details complete, up to date and consistent, and you know whether you show up.
No. You carry on with your menu and your daily menu. We prepare the information, check the answers and show you the result in Menuveo Studio.
AI tools that search the web pick up changes within days. Those that answer from trained data take months. There is no guaranteed timeframe.
Yes. AI Mode uses the same sources as Google Maps and Search, which is where we work on your listing.
Yes, and it is growing fast. According to DoorDash and Dynata (May 2026), 22% of diners have already chosen a restaurant by asking an AI. BrightLocal (March 2026) finds 45% of consumers use AI to find local businesses, up from 6% a year earlier. And Local Falcon (2026) estimates 83% of restaurants are invisible in ChatGPT.
There is no registration or sign-up. ChatGPT and Google’s AI read what is public: your Google listing, your website, directories and reviews. All you can do is make that information complete, in text and consistent everywhere. That is what Menuveo does.
Google finds you by distance; ChatGPT picks you by what it understands about you. If your menu is a photo, your hours are incomplete or your details differ from site to site, the AI does not trust you. According to MyPlace (February 2026), restaurants the AI recommends average 3,424 Google reviews, versus 955 for those it ignores.
