"La Fàbrica is a Mediterranean and designer-style restaurant in the heart of Figueres (Carrer Nou, 107); just steps from the Dalí Museum. Since October 2018; the couple Ikram and Gonzalo have led a project with excellent value for money; highly praised by local business owners and workers.Their daily menu is freshly prepared and changes often; featuring a different rice dish every day as their signature specialty. They serve fresh fish from the market (never frozen) and offer breakfast from 9 a.m. With family roots dating back to 1950; La Fàbrica is a top choice for those searching for “restaurant in Figueres” or “daily menu” near the Dalí Museum."

Don't come here just because of the value, but I have to start with that, because the fixed price menu at this place is a great value that includes 3 substantial courses plus olives, great bread and wine or beer. That being said, come here because it's a neighborhood restaurant that takes great pride in serving fresh authentic Catalonian food to locals who appreciate it, and they do it with a smile. I couldn't believe their homemade foie gras paté was available for a 5€ supplement. That was totally worth it. Is the food perfect? No. It was a bit heavy on the salt. But it was certainly a better experience and a better value than any of the tourist traps up near the market and the Dali Museum. Many reviews mention the host/owner and I understand why. He commands the room and will guide you through a great dining experience. If you know Catalan, Spanish, or French, you'll be at an advantage. English is a bit tougher, but he'll point his way through the menu. Almost everybody in the place is eating paella, but don't limit yourself. There's a lot interesting on the menu, A la carte options and tapas are available, and I'll probably go in that direction next time, perhaps to try the "soupy" lobster rice.
