“Bar Bodega Fermín first opened in 1967, founded by Fermín Puig and his wife Soledad. In a working-class neighbourhood full of factories, the bodega quickly became a meeting point for locals who came to refill their wine jugs and buy groceries. As the years went by, the area changed and the factories closed, but the bar managed to adapt without losing its identity. Two years ago it changed hands and is now run by Josep and Manel, who keep its spirit alive. It remains a place to enjoy good wine, generous tapas and friendly service, in a setting that still reflects the character of the past.”
